Our teams build and maintain apps, services, fragrances, and devices that power all of the connected experience platforms for Pura customers internal and external. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of our flaghship IoT mobile app, for both iOS and Android, with integrated shopping capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive the product strategy, from concept to launch, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust shopping functionalities. This role requires a deep understanding of IoT technologies and mobile app development along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll own:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the IoT mobile app for iOS and Android, integrating innovative shopping features and ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify user needs, market trends, and opportunities for enhancing the app's shopping functionalities.
  • Define the product vision and roadmap, prioritizing IoT capabilities and shopping features to align with company goals and user expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and IoT development teams to oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to testing and launch.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user engagement, shopping behavior, and app performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize the app's features and functionalities.
  • Work in tandem with the marketing and sales teams to define effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for the IoT mobile app.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior product management team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging IoT technologies, and competitive landscape developments to identify opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation.
  • Communicating plans, goals, progress, impact, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders

Experience you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, specifically within the IoT and mobile app development space. Experience with integrating mobile e-commerce or shopping functionalities is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the development and launch of IoT mobile apps. 
  • Strong skills in user research and human-centered design practices.
  • An analytical approach to understanding performance and testing new features
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the proven experience working effectively and facilitating the product development process with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Engineers, customer support, marketing, and designers.
  • Demonstrated examples of company values and trust building, healthy conflict, commitment to decisions and accountability for results. 
  • Strong interest in learning, and in improving how we deliver connected experiences through various products and interfaces.
