Your Role at Pura:
As a Document Control Specialist, you'll be essential in ensuring the accuracy and prompt execution of new product data and updates. Your contributions will make you a key asset in a role that is crucial to the success of the company. You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. What You'll Own
As a Document Control Specialist, you will be the owner of critical data and documentation that keeps our operations running smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data entry and change management within our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Arena.
- Managing data in relevant warehouse and vendor systems.
- Conducting audits to maintain data accuracy across Arena and linked systems.
- Creating and managing operations documentation, such as SOPs and Work Instructions.
Essential Functions
Your day-to-day work will focus on the following essential functions:
- Performing data entry for part numbers, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and details related to suppliers, sourcing, and costing, all based on Change Requests from various departments.
- Reviewing and processing Change Requests and Change Orders throughout the product lifecycle. .
- Performing additional audits and data entry tasks to maintain the integrity of our data within Arena PLM.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure operational processes are documented, updated, and retrievable.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, particularly with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Proven experience managing Engineering or Product Change Orders.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all document handling and data entry tasks.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, as well as a strong command of Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt effectively to meet changing company or departmental needs.
