Join Us at Pura—Reimagining Fragrance for the Future

At Pura, we believe life is better when it smells good. Fragrance has the unique power to transform spaces, elevate moods, and create lasting memories. But we know it can do even more. That’s why we’re pioneering the future of fragrance, combining cutting-edge smart home technology with premium, clean scents to create personalized, meaningful experiences in every home.

We’re not just a fragrance company—we’re on a mission to change the way people experience scent.

Why Join Pura?

Our journey began with two innovators, Richie Stapler and Bruno Lima, and their shared vision of revolutionizing how we experience fragrance. Since then, Pura has grown into a company that sells a fragrance every 3.7 seconds, partnering with iconic brands like Curio, Anthropologie, and Disn. We’ve been recognized as the Fastest Growing Company in Utah, and we are passionate about making scent a core part of life’s most memorable moments.

Your Role at Pura:

The Senior Transportation Manager will lead Pura's domestic and international transportation strategy across DTC, B2B, retail, inbound, and international channels. This role owns transportation cost, service, carrier strategy, parcel and last-mile performance, network optimization, and transportation technology across small parcel, truckload, LTL, air, and ocean. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and negotiation skills with broad transportation experience and will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, Finance, IT, Customer Experience, Retail, and 3PL providers to support Pura's continued growth.

You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. This is your chance to make an impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining the way people experience scent.

What You’ll Own:

  • Transportation Strategy & Budget: Develop and execute Pura's domestic and international transportation strategy while managing freight budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Network Optimization: Optimize transportation across parcel, truckload, LTL, air, and ocean to balance cost, service, capacity, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Parcel & Last-Mile Strategy: Own high-volume parcel strategy, including national and regional carrier mix, service levels, capacity, delivery performance, and last-mile optimization.
  • Rate Shopping & Technology: Lead rate-shopping strategy and partner with IT and fulfillment providers on carrier integrations, manifesting, tracking, TMS, reporting, and transportation technology.
  • Carrier Procurement & Management: Lead carrier sourcing, RFPs, rate and contract negotiations, SLAs, capacity commitments, and ongoing carrier business reviews.
  • International Transportation & Trade: Manage international transportation, freight forwarders, customs brokers, Incoterms, customs clearance, duties, tariffs, and cross-border requirements.
  • Retail & B2B Transportation: Manage routing guides, appointments, OTIF/OTD, drop-ship requirements, retailer compliance, accessorials, and transportation-related chargebacks.
  • 3PL Transportation Governance: Oversee transportation managed by Pura's 3PL and fulfillment partners to ensure rates, carrier selection, service, capacity, and performance align with Pura's strategy.
  • Delivery Experience: Partner cross-functionally to improve EDD accuracy, transit performance, tracking visibility, delivery notifications, and overall customer delivery experience.
  • Peak & Capacity Planning: Develop transportation forecasts and capacity plans for peak periods, promotions, product launches, retail events, and changing network volumes.
  • Transportation Analytics & Cost Management: Monitor spend, freight invoices, accessorials, claims, cost per order, transit time, carrier performance, EDD, and SLA compliance to identify savings and service opportunities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with transportation, customs, import/export, and hazardous materials requirements and maintain contingency plans for transportation disruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives that improve transportation cost, service, visibility, scalability, and overall network performance.
