Your Role at Pura:
The Retail Sr. Account Manager at Pura will be instrumental in driving our retail growth strategies, with a dedicated focus on expanding our presence and partnerships within the Beauty channel. This role requires a strategic thinker who can engage directly with buying partners and other key retailers in the Beauty sector. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying and capitalizing on merchandising, marketing, and retail expansion opportunities, ultimately driving sales growth and establishing Pura as a leading brand in the retail fragrance market. This role is critical for ensuring seamless purchase order (PO) fulfillment and cultivating strong, lasting relationships within the Beauty channel.

What You’ll Own:
- Strategic Account Management:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with retail partners in the Beauty channel, focusing on driving Pura's business objectives. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Beauty channel market dynamics, customer preferences, and strategic priorities of key partners.
- Merchandising and Marketing Strategy:
- Create and implement innovative merchandising and marketing strategies tailored to the unique characteristics of the Beauty channel and its consumer base. Work closely with internal marketing and product teams to develop impactful in-store displays, promotional campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Retail Expansion:
- Spearhead the expansion of Pura's footprint within Beauty channel stores and identify and pursue new physical retail opportunities. Assess potential store locations, develop strategic plans to maximize sales and brand visibility, and lead negotiations for new store placements within the Beauty channel.
- Purchase Order (PO) Fulfillment:
- Manage the end-to-end PO fulfillment process for Beauty channel partners, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while adhering to their specific routing guide requirements. Proactively address and resolve any potential fulfillment challenges, maintaining clear and consistent communication with retail partners.
- Business Development & Prospecting:
- Identify, target, and secure new retail partnerships within the Beauty channel. Negotiate and finalize high-level deals, and oversee the seamless onboarding of new retail accounts. Leverage existing industry relationships and actively seek opportunities to further penetrate the Beauty channel market.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retail sales, marketing campaign effectiveness, and store-level performance within the Beauty channel. Prepare and present regular reports to internal stakeholders and retail partners, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in retail account management, with a demonstrated track record of success in the Beauty channel. In-depth understanding of the Beauty channel's operations, processes, and organizational structures. Previous experience working with major Beauty retailers such as Ulta and Sephora is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets within the Beauty channel. Expertise in developing and executing effective merchandising strategies. Strong business development skills with the ability to prospect and close strategic accounts. Comprehensive understanding of omnichannel retail strategies. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retail partners in the Beauty channel. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bonus: Existing network of established relationships with key decision-makers within the Beauty channel.
